Behavior at work is not a private affair, but the interest of the whole organization. The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to highlight the importance of the business conduct standardization, meaning that we pay attention to the appropriate business conduct. This also means that business conduct is not left to chance or to the choice of the individual, but it is a generally accepted obligation of all employees. Also, this is a contribution to the implementation of the standard ISO 17100 in the business of the company Littera Sr.
All Littera Sr employees are required to learn about the principles of this Code and to adhere to them. The interpretation and implementation of the Code of Conduct will be done by the company director. For any questions or issues encountered during the implementation of the Code, the employees should contact the director.
Respect for diversity
Littera Sr guarantees equality for all its employees, regardless of the age, gender, race, language, nationality, religion, sexual or gender identity, ethnic origin or social and economic status. The differences between people are accepted in an open and unbiased manner, with the respect for the employees’ privacy.
Responsibilities and authorities of each employee are defined in accordance with the Regulation of job classification and authorities given by the director. All employees have to respect the limits of their authorities and responsibilities. All employees are required to perform their duties professionally and responsibly without transferring responsibilities to others.
Attitude towards work and coworkers
Negative comments regarding Littera Sr, coworkers, associates and their work in front of the clients, i.e. the users of our services, is strictly forbidden. Shouting, quarreling, gossip and interference in private life are not allowed.
It is forbidden to use high tones, abusive language, and particularly profanity while communicating with the colleagues. Every instance of shouting and profane language will be sanctioned.
Duties of the employees
Employees are required to be in the workplace at the beginning of business hours. One 30-minute break is planned during business hours.
Ethical standards of dress and behavior
Proper behavior in accordance with the rules of civility and decent clothing is expected in everyday situations at the workplace.
Protection of property, confidential information and trade secrets
Any misappropriation, embezzlement, destruction or damage of Littera Sr property due to careless handling and careless attitude towards work, as well as unauthorized use of the property, is strictly prohibited. Employees are expected not to disclose Littera Sr trade secrets to third parties. Permanent termination of employment is to be expected for disclosure of business secrets.
Carrying and consumption of alcohol at the workplace and getting intoxicated at the workplace, as well as coming to work intoxicated, are strictly prohibited. It is also forbidden to carry, distribute and use any kind of drugs at the workplace. All forms of psychological and physical abuse in Littera Sr are strictly forbidden. Sexual harassment, as well as all forms of bullying, are also strictly prohibited. Carrying, possession, and use of all types of weapons at the Littera Sr offices are strictly prohibited.
